Booking a Session :
Thank you for your interest in booking a session with me! I know how intimidating and stressful preparing for a photo session can be, so I am here to help take some of the guesswork out of it and hopefully alleviate some of the stress.
Once you have decided to book a session by contacting me, we will discuss things like dates and times, the type of session you are wanting, location, and package selection. I will take that information and email some forms for you to fill out (contract, questionnaire, etc.), as well as details about your session and other helpful tips. My spring and fall dates tend to fill up quickly, specifically May and October, so it’s always a good idea to contact me as early as possible to get your desired date.
Your Photo Session :
The length of your session will depend upon the package you have selected. We will meet at the determined destination at the scheduled time and go over any last-minute session details before we get started. I want you to be comfortable, so we will chat and have a great time all while capturing amazing you! I am always open to any shots or poses you would like to capture, as well as any props you would like to incorporate into your session. If you have little ones, it might be a good idea to pack drinks, snacks, something to do, and even an extra outfit, just in case. Also, if you have booked a graduate session and will be changing outfits, please keep in mind that you will likely be doing so in a vehicle, as accommodations cannot be guaranteed at a given location.
I will capture some candid moments, as well as some posed. I do feel it’s important to mention that not everyone needs to be looking at the camera at the same time, or smiling at the same time. I want to capture relaxed, authentic moments with natural smiles—not stiff, “say cheese” smiles! Just remember to breathe— relax, be yourself, and enjoy! I want this experience to be fun and memorable.
After Session Care :
Following your session, I will begin the process of culling and editing your images. It takes about three weeks (sometimes longer during busy seasons) for me to finalize your gallery, and when it’s ready, I will send you an email with a link to view your proofs and instructions on how to select your images. You can relax and choose your package images from the comfort of your home, without any sales pressure. Once you’ve made your selections, I will be prepare a link which you will receive in an email with all the information on how to download your collection.
